CUE CARE & TIPS
By Mike Sigel
CUE CARE TIP #1
Always rough up your tip before playing a match or game. The best way is to use a file or any kind of tool designed for this purpose. Most billiards rooms or supply stores carry these products.
Scratch the top of the tip so you don't miscue and get better control with English Draw and Follow. The chalk will stick better to the tip.
CUE CARE TIP #2
Never touch the top of the tip with your finger or it will put oil on the tip and possibly cause you problems. If you do touch the tip with your finger, sand the top down slightly with sand paper before roughing it up again.
